The latest data shows it will take 234 years until the gender pay gap is closed at the current rate of work to close it. We must advance things further, we’re not waiting that long.

Based on 2019 data from the U.S. Census data on median earnings for full-time, year-round workers, all women make 82c to every dollar a man makes. Breaking that down further into the intersection of gender and race, it shows us an even more disturbing picture. Asian American women earn 85c to every dollar a man makes, White women 80c, Black women 63c, Native American women 60c and Latina women 55c.
